REACH Legislation

REACH is the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force on 1st June 2007. It streamlines and improves the former legislative framework on chemicals of the European Union. This webpage contains also the REACH implementing legislation.

Classification Legislation

CLP is the Regulation on classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures. It entered into force on 20 January 2009. It aligns existing EU legislation to the United Nations Globally Harmonised System (GHS). The website includes also the Dangerous Substance Directive and the Dangerous Preparations Directive.
